The Technical Verification Site for Intelligent Manufacturing

Taiwan government has announced the intelligent machinery promotion policy with the goal to develop intelligent machinery, defense and aerospace industry.

The policy is aimed to increase investment and output value and establish Taichung as the city of intelligent machinery.

ITRI has established the pilot production line in Taichung city in order to implement the policy and fit in the urban planning of Taichung city.

The pilot production site will develop key components and services to link domestic and international partners.

The site is constructed based on domestic machines and in-house technology such as simulation, cyber-physical system, IOT, cloud computing, big data,robotics and data visualization to show the flexible manufacturing and industry 4.0 scenario.
